With Mother’s Day coming up next weekend, I wanted to share with you a few of my favourite beauty products that I have been loving lately. Even though I do love to receive flowers on Mother’s Day, there is something about getting makeup and bath products that get me really excited! Lol
Have you ever tried Korres products before? They are amazing! I have a ton of their skincare products such as, their eye creams and face creams, and I love them.
This Body Butter, and Shower Gel is in my favourite scent- Jasmine. It’s also my favourite scent from their line of bath products as well. It’s a very soft floral smell, nothing too powerful or overwhelming.
Using the Shower Gel in the shower makes me feel like I am in a spa. It’s just such a calming scent. It lathers very well and makes me feel very fresh and clean.
The Body Butter is heavenly. I have dry skin all year round, so I use this everyday. Some body butters I find can feel heavy, and cakey on the skin, but this one doesn’t at all. It’s so lightweight. It’s also very hydrating, and absorbs well into my skin. I love the silky smooth texture, and I really love that it’s not greasy. I hate creams that make my skin feel very slippery, and oily.
In the morning, I use the Wild Rose Brightening Targeted Tone Corrector to help with the redness on my skin. It also brightens my skin and makes it look more refreshed.
I have a few makeup products from Paul & Joe, and I love them. This set here is their 15th Anniversary Makeup Collection, that came out in April. Isn’t it so cute?!

Honestly, I would be happy if I could sleep all day…or at least til 9 o’clock. Much better than the usual 6:30 when baby gets up. Other than that I hope my eldest draws me a mother’s day card…love the homemade cards. Happy Mother’s Day!
I would love to spend a nice day with my daughters and my mom. Of course, the day would be perfect if my girls do not fight with each other, they are 6 and 8.
I think as an outing, I would love to go for high tea somewhere.
There is only one way I would love to spend Mother’s Day – with my sweet blessing son, Mason and my very special mother. My mother lost her vision over 8 years ago for no reason and it was immediately with no warning. The challegenes she faced when she lost her vision were heart drenching. Many people wouldn’t have been able to cope. They may have even taken their life. Not her, the love for her family outshined her lost and she kept on living and doing the very best she could to take care of her family. I cannot imagine how I would be if that happened to me. She is my idol and I look up to her for her strength and preserverence. Many people wouldn’t have been able to cope in that tragic situation.
My day wouldn’t be complete if it wasn’t spent with my son who also has a disability of Aspergers, aka high functioning autism. He has made me the mom I am today. He has blessed my life beyond words. He has taught me so much, things I could never imagine I could do. I wouldn’t change him for the world. As all moms can relate, when you love your child it is a love like no other. The smile on his face can brighten any day. He gives me purpose. I love him with all my heart and soul. I am very blessed to have both my mom and my son. This is who I want to spend my mothers day with – my two blessings. ❤️

this mothers day alll i want is to have one cup of hot coffee in peace yup thats it and to use the washroom without little eyeballs staring back at me. motherhood is awsome even if you never use the bathroom alone again lol

Mother’s day isn’t complete with having my sisters there with their families as each of their kids has a special place in my heart. We have this Picnic Food Truck in my small town and its opening up on Mother’s Day weekend, hoping that its a nice sunny weekend so we can go and eat outside!
