On Sunday September 28 from 10-5pm, Ontario Science Centre is celebrating it’s 45th Anniversary by offering FREE admission and a special price for IMAX films. Adults can watch 2 of the most popular IMAX films at the child rate of only $9. Parking is still an extra charge which is $10 per vehicle.

The Municipality of Clarington is having a Family Safety Day event on Saturday, September 27 from 10-3pm at Clarington Emergency and Fire Services Station 1 in Bowmanville. The event is held to educate the public about safety in a fun way. They will have a live burn demonstration to show how quickly a fire spreads, Durham Region Police and OPP will provide a distracted driving presentation and they will also have a rollover simulator on hand to show people what it feels like to be in a accident. OPG will be there providing fire extinguisher training and kitchen safety tips.
They will also have live performances, camel rides and a hot air balloon that will take people for a ride.

Conant Complex Community Fair
The Oshawa Community Health Centre is hosting a community fair on Saturday, September 27 from 11-3pm. Free BBQ, bouncey castles, magician, air brush tattoos and much more! Jungle Cat World will be there too! They will also have information booths on programs and various services available to the Oshawa community.
